The Induction Ceremony of Academicians for the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia was held in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony of the 58th Malaysia-Singapore Congress of Medicine 2025 on Friday, 22nd August 2025. The event commenced with a welcoming address delivered by Professor Dr. Rosmawati Mohammed, Master of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia. The Congress was officially declared open by His Royal Highness DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah. A distinguished highlight of the ceremony was the Tun Dr. Ismail Oration, delivered by YABhg Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The College of Otorhinolaryngologists – Head and Neck Surgeons marked a significant milestone with the induction of 37 new members into its fold. The College wishes heartiest congratulations to all new inductees.
